The Left’s censorship war continues as popular pro-Trump, anti-Deep State book now banned from NY Times’ bestseller list

One of the top books in the country right now is a tome that is supportive of President Donald J. Trump and his effort to drain the D.C. swamp, but most readers of The New York Times will never be exposed to it because the paper has apparently banned it from its influential “Best Sellers” list.

As reported by Newsmax, the book — “Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump” by Dr. Jerome Corsi — “is a runaway bestseller” based on sales figures by the only reputable tracking service, Nielsen BookScan.

In fact, the tome has sold enough copies to have been placed on the paper’s hardcover book list at number four. That spot on the Times‘ list, as of this writing, is currently held by “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark,” by Michelle McNamera, though it has sold hundreds of copies less than “Killing the Deep State,” which, for the record, was published by Humanix, which is a Newsmax subsidiary.

The book “also sold substantially more copies than the 11 other books on the list,” the news site reported, including “Obama” by Pete Souza, the former Chief Official White House Photographer for U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama, “Leonardo Da Vinci” by Walter Isaacson, and “Born a Crime” by Trevor Noah.

What’s more, pre-sales of the book shot it up to the No. 6 spot on Amazon’s best-seller list in March, Newsmax reported.

As noted by Infowars, Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom was one of the first to note the ‘irregularity.’

Newsmax contacted The New York Times for comment, reaching Brian Kennedy, who answered the phone at the best-seller list desk. When asked about the absence of “Killing the Deep State” based on the sales figures, he issued a terse “no comment” and, naturally, wouldn’t answer any other questions, either. (Related: Left-wing media’s “fact-checkers” are even MORE biased than the media outlets they represent.)

In an appearance on Newsmax TV, Corsi said he wasn’t altogether surprised at the exclusion of the book from the list, “even if it legitimately outsells most of the other books.”

“They don’t want any book that will support President Trump, who they detest, to be on The New York Times bestseller list. Even if the book legitimately outsells most of the other books,” he said during an appearance on “Newsmax Now.”

“It’s completely disgraceful and dishonest. But again, The New York Times is disgraceful and dishonest these days,” he told host Kirsten Haglund, adding that the Times knows how influential its best-seller list really is.

Placement anywhere on the list generally leads to better sales for authors — but in this case, obviously, that’s not on the Times’ anti-Trump agenda.

“So if they deny you from being on The New York Times bestseller list, they’re trying to have a suppression campaign to make sure that nobody reads ‘Killing the Deep State,'” Corsi said. “They have control over a lot of the book industry and they know it. And that’s the disadvantage.”

Corsi isn’t the only pro-Trump voice of freedom and liberty who has been banned of late by Left-leaning media and social media giants.

Last month YouTube banned entire channels of content, including one belonging to Natural News Network founder Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, which had more than 1,700 videos covering everything from nutrition, natural medicine, history, science, and current events.

The Left-led Deep State is panicking, having been unsuccessful in separating Trump from his supporters (and, based on his currently 50-percent favorability rating, his new supporters). So it has begun to engage in a campaign of censorship not at all unlike the Nazi-led book burnings in the early 1930s.

A hybrid form of Alt-Left authoritarianism is rising in America, involving elements of fascism and Marxism. I don’t see it abating anytime soon.

Soon there will be a freedom-minded alternative to YouTube thanks to the Health Ranger: Real.Video. Also, stay better informed at Censored.news.
